Summer time is here! The grills are sizzling, the beverages are cold, the slip and slide is active in the backyard... but what better way to enjoy the heat of the summer than by going inside and tuning in to some 50-yard football!

We made inside so that we don't have to go outside! We've unfortunately heard 'Chapter 13' too many times in arena ball, but in this instance it is for the 13th installment of the 2026 edition of the #TheIndoorWar and with that comes PICKS.

Before we get to our picks for this week, let's dive into Weeks 12 and review:

IFL Week 12 Review

Green Bay -13.5 - Winner

  • Green Bay rolls, 62-28

IOWA-TUL Over 84.5 - Winner

  • Combined for 92 points

FISH-JAX Over 93.5 - Loser

  • Combined for 70 points

NAZ-ARI Over 85.5 - Winner

  • Combined for 88 points

ORL-TUC Under 90.5 - Winner

  • Combined for 90 points

San Diego -13.5 - Loser

  • San Diego wins, New Mexico covers 55-45

Quad City +23.5 - Loser

  • Vegas rolls, 61-28

This was a VERY fortunate 4-3, with the Overs in Tulsa & Arizona coming down to the wire and the Under in Tucson hitting in an all-time bad beat / good beat degenerate way.

But a win is a win! We take it, we build on it and we're on to the next. 4 out of 6 matchups have a double digit spread for this upcoming week, and those usual spell trouble in the IFL where points can be nickeled and dimed in an instant.

LET'S FIND SOME WINNERS!

2026 IFL Record: 41-24

Iowa Barnstormers @ Orlando Pirates (Saturday 6/6 @ 4:00PM ET)

The Play: Under 96.5

Thank you for the GIF, Ms. ESL teacher

Sometimes a number jumps off the page at you and you have to really trust your gut instinct when it says "oh hell yeah that's the one" and that's the feeling I got when I saw the total at 96.5 for this game.

Orlando's defense has been bad bad, but their offense has not been very good for the past month either. They'll likely get Nyqwan Murray back for this one, but 96.5 would require a joint effort from both offenses and when you look across to Iowa and see them back playing the "will they / won't they" game at QB, it feels like the Under is the safe play here.

Struggling offenses unite!

Prediction: 46-37 Orlando

Tulsa Oilers @ Fishers Freight (Saturday 6/6 @ 7:00PM ET)

The Play: Under 87.5

I don't know the context here and I am okay with that.

This is a massive game for both teams. Fishers is on a 4 game slide after starting 5-1, while Tulsa is trending up after winning two straight after a 2-5 start.

I could honestly be convinced to take either spread line in this one as this is as close to a toss up as I can imagine, but it just feels like the momentum is in Tulsa's favor. I like what RB Caleb Ramseur has brought to the offense and TJ Edwards has had a fantastic campaign so far.

Fishers is gonna have to really dominate the time of possession in this game and Tulsa has a tendency to have long opening drives in games to try to establish the line of scrimmage as well.

I think we get a low scoring first half with a limited number of longer possessions and it gets close in the 4th quarter, but slides in rightttt under. (plz)

Prediction: 44-41 Tulsa

San Antonio Gunslingers @ Jacksonville Sharks (Saturday 6/6 @ 7:00PM ET)

The Play: Over 79.5

Underwater Sharknado?

Today is the day I get a Jacksonville pick right. I can feel it. Both defenses have been playing really well this season, which leads you to believe that the Under would be the play.

But that is EXACTLY what they want you to think! The Sharks offense had a down week vs Fishers after two straight 60+ point outings and I think we get a 50 burger from them to day.

The REAL test of this pick is gonna come down to a struggling San Antonio offense that has yet to score 40+ points in a game this season. If we can get AT LEAST 30 from them, I'll feel pretty good.

Dare I say 35? (I'm getting greedy)

Prediction: 52-36 Jacksonville

Green Bay Blizzard @ Quad City Steamwheelers (Saturday 6/6 @ 8:00PM ET)

The Play: Over 89.5

Me looking at a double digit homedog spread for Quad City

The rubber match is here! Both visiting teams have won each of the first two games of this rivalry this season and Green Bay has been on an absolute tear through the Eastern Conference since dropping their only loss of the season to Quad City back in Week 5.

Green Bay will get theirs, as QB Liam Thompson will have the offense rolling, but the test will be if this Quad City team get out of their own way and stop repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot.

Quad City will be wearing their Halfway to Halloween jerseys for this game, which provides a moral boost? Right? Maybe?

Idk, let's just score points here.

Prediction: 55-43 Green Bay

New Mexico Chupacabras @ Tucson Sugar Skulls (Sunday 6/7 @ 4:00PM ET)

The Play: Tucson -4.5

ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNO-SKULL

Oh boy. A week after Ja'Rome Johnson makes his debut for the Sugar Skulls, we get a revenge game against his former team from earlier this season in which there seems to be some level of animosity about how things ended.

This is a massive game for Tucson to potentially leapfrog San Antonio in the Western Conference and start pacing themselves for the 4 seed, and if they can come out hot like they did against Orlando last week, I can see them rolling in this one.

But with that being said, this New Mexico team looked brand new last week in their game against San Diego. I really like the Tucson -4.5 number, but I also like the Over 74.5 too. It feels like that number was based on season long productivity vs what each team has done recently. Might do a little same game parlay side quest with those two for fun.

Tucson, double digits.

Prediction: 51-38 Tucson

Vegas Knight Hawks @ NAZ Wranglers (Sunday 6/7 @ 7:30PM ET)

The Play: Vegas -26.5

VIVA LAS VEGAS

I have been made a FOOL the past 3 weeks by picking underdog lines against Vegas that I (and some others) thought were way high. But I'll be damned, Vegas keeps on covering.

Arizona +12.5 - Won by 14

Orlando +13.5 - Won by a billion

Arizona +2.5 - Won by 4 (not a crazy line here tbh)

Quad City +23.5 - Won by 33

Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again!

VEGAS BY A BILLION! I WILL NOT BE MADE A FOOL AGAIN!

Prediction: 59-29 Vegas
