Week 11 is here! We had a guy last night on Thursday, a couple on Friday and a 3 more on Saturday for a full weekend of football that will surely drive significant others of the arena football community insane.

We've got some good matchups that are very dependent on the health of QBs, but let's take a look at how we did last week before diving into this week's picks.

IFL Week 10 Review

Tulsa-Iowa Under 87.5 - Loser

  • Combined for 107 points (but gave us an all time ending)

Bay Area-San Antonio Over 82.5 - Loser

  • Combined for 81 points (pain)

Jacksonville-Fishers Under 81.5 - Loser

  • Combined for 86 points (pain)

Northern Arizona +13.5 - Winner

  • Arizona wins 54-47, NAZ covers

Vegas -1.5 - Loser

  • San Diego wins outright 42-39 (on a questionable TD call) with 3 seconds left

Painful week. I hate to say, but it needs to be said:

I've been cold the past couple of weeks. I've gotta do better.

We've had some damn close calls and 50/50s that didn't go our way, but we make picks here -- not excuses.

In preparation for this week of picks, I sat myself in an isolation chamber with no noise except 'Chumbawumba - Tubthumping' for 24 hours straight -- driving home the message "I get knocked down, but I get up again"

By the 75th play, you really start to love the song again. I swear.

Alright enough chatter.

LET'S FIND SOME WINNERS!

2025 IFL Record: 29-26

Hand up -- Thursday's night's kickoff snuck up on me and I threw a pick out there just for the sanctity of the game. It did not go well. I will die on the hill that he broke the plane.

Very rude of DK to have no spread for QC-TUL -- smh

Fishers Freight vs Green Bay Blizzard (Friday 5/30 @ 8:05PM ET)

The Play: Over 90.5

oh Jimmy..

The Green Bay Blizzard offense has been great over the past 5 games, scoring 70+ and really opening things up through the passing game with QB Max Meylor.

Combine that with the fact that Fishers Overs are 6-2 on the year -- with them being on the losing end on a lot of those -- this one could get lopsided very quickly.

Fishers has also been able to score 40+ points in 6 out of 8 games this year, so they have the ability to do their part in hitting the 90.5. I'd expect to see the Blizz roll in this one and Fishers to score some garbage time points to help with the total.

Prediction: 55-41 Green Bay

Quad City Steamwheelers vs Tulsa Oilers (Friday 5/30 @ 8:05PM ET)

The Play: Tulsa ML -110

Drill, baby, drill!

The lack of information coming out of Quad City regarding QB Daquan Neal is very, very concerning. The fact that Quad City signed a new QB this week is not very promising of Neal's availability this week.

If this matchup of QBs is TJ Edwards vs Demry Croft or the recently signed Seth Morgan, the scales are tipped in the favor of the Oilers at home. Coming off of a massive comeback win last week vs Iowa, this team is hot riding a 5-game winning streak and have an opportunity to leapfrog the Steamwheelers for first place in the Eastern Conference.

Oilers at the BOK, let us pray our bet will be okay.

Prediction: 45-37 Tulsa

Arizona Rattlers vs Vegas Knight Hawks (Saturday 5/31 @ 9:05PM ET)

The Play: Vegas +3

I wonder what the electric bill is for the average casino in Vegas

I hate that I haven't lost faith in Vegas yet.

They should have beat Arizona & San Diego in each of their last 2 games, losing each by a field goal and due to some calls by the officials that weren't necessarily on the right side of history (in my opinion). They are a much better team than their 4-4 record indicates and I think they can pull of the upset win at home against the Rattlers. Arizona got a tough test last week against Northern Arizona and had to have some comeback theatrics in the final minute for a second straight week. It feels like lady luck's pendulum is due to swing back against them.

Knight Hawks as homedogs? I'm in.

Prediction: 45-40 Vegas

Northern Arizona Wranglers vs San Diego Strike Force (Saturday 5/31 @ 9:05PM ET)

The Play: Northern Arizona +6.5

Same brother, same.

I like what we've seen out of Northern Arizona the past couple of weeks. QB Ramone Atkins has the offense humming and that defense continues to play pretty damn well. I like his connection with WR Deshon Stoudamire & RB Nolan Susel is due for a breakout game soon. San Diego may be without QB Nate Davis, which could make them a littttttle more on dimension and dependent on the ground game a lot more.

Feels like San Diego is overvalued here a little bit just based on how their recent run form. The Strike Force won their recent meeting with the Wranglers 40-29, and that was with a bad QB in the game for NAZ.

Insert a good QB and I think they cover the +6.5 and have a solid chance at the upset.

Prediction: 41-40 Northern Arizona

San Antonio Gunslingers vs Tucson Sugar Skulls (Saturday 5/31 @ 9:05PM ET)

The Play: Tucson -4.5

Interesting GIF -- skulls eating spiders? Aight man.

I like where Tucson is at this point in the season.

I do not like where San Antonio is at this point in the season.

Not gonna overthink this one. Sugar Skulls.

Prediction: 49-36 Tucson
