It's a beautiful day and a wonderful time to be alive. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and OTW is off to a WHITE HOT start to IFL Picks for the 2026 season. (copy pasted from the last time we went undefeated in Week 1)
A little tune of the week to embrace the vibe heading into Week 2, if you are into that.
The Indoor War is alive and well. Let's take a look at last week's picks.
IFL Week 1 Review
Freight +8.5 - Winner
Fishers wins outright 45-27
Vegas-Green Bay Under 94.5 - Winner
Combined for 72 points
2-0. Let's go.
Week One Unders are amongst the most sacred national treasures that we have. You can always rely on a 12-seed to beat a 5-seed in men's March Madness, South Carolina to take an expressway to the Final Four in the women's March Madness, and IFL #WeekOneUnders. Set your reminders for next March.
Fishers absolutely showed up in a big way in the season opener, showing up in every phase of the game and crushed it in the second half. Green Bay looked like the 2024 version of themselves with the return of #BlizzBall - strong defense, ground and pound offense & a sprinkling of special teams madness.
And we get those two winners against each other this week. What a time to be alive.
LET'S FIND SOME WINNERS!
2026 IFL Record: 2-0

Iowa Barnstormers @ Quad City Steamwheelers (Saturday 3/21 @ 6:00PM ET)
The Play: Quad City -5.5
Quad City laid an egg in the 2nd half of Week 1 against Fishers and just got bullied at the line of scrimmage for the first time in a long time. But fortunately for Steamwheelers, this is the ultimate "get right" spot for them.
Iowa is entering game one of a massive rebuild with a large influx of indoor football rookies on the roster making their debuts for the Barnstormers. It feels like it will take Iowa at least a game or two to get into a rhythm, and
In a game of a loaded veteran roster vs one with mostly rookies making their debut, gotta roll with the vets and the points.
Prediction: 48-34 Quad City
Fishers Freight @ Green Bay Blizzard (Saturday 3/21 @ 8:00PM ET)
The Play: Fishers -2.5
A second straight week where Green Bay is a home-dog sure is tempting, especially with the reemergence of #BlizzBall, but I was really impressed with Fishers in Week One.
The WR duo of CJ Windham & JT Stokes (newest Friend of the Program) is going to be a force in this league, but this game is going to be determined at the line of scrimmage.
A big and strong Fishers O-line vs a Green Bay D-line that heavily disrupted the Vegas' Week 1 offensive flow, and a Fishers D-line that ran wild on Quad City in Week 1 vs a Green Bay O-line that is finding their mojo after a surprising (for some) opener.
I think the scales are tipped in favor of Fishers in this one, and I think we see Fishers to start 2-0 for the second straight season. ALL ABOARDDDDDD!
Prediction: 44-39 Fishers
Orlando Pirates @ New Mexico Chupacabras (Sunday 3/22 @ 4:00PM ET)
The Play: Orlando -5.5
It's an IFL debut for the New Mexico Chupacabras and an IFL debut for the city of Orlando with the recently relocated Pirates. In season openers, it can be tricky to find nuance and find those edges in most situations.
When you look at the rosters of Orlando compared to New Mexico, this is how it breaks down in my humble opinion.
QB: New Mexico
RB: Orlando
WR: Orlando
OL: Orlando
DL: Orlando
LB: Orlando
DB: Orlando
K: Orlando
Quite the split. New Mexico gets the edge in the most important position in all of sports, while Orlando gets the edge in... checks notes
Everything else.
Give me Orlando to cover. Coach Keefe is gonna have this team ready to roll, but I wouldn't be surprised if New Mexico makes it a little more interesting than people expect.
Prediction: 47-39 Orlando
Northern Arizona Wranglers @ San Diego Strike Force (Monday 3/23 @ 9:00PM ET)
The Play: Over 77.5
We didn't see a point total line in the 70s until Week 4 of the 2025 season, and we get THREE in Week 2. This reeks of a massive overcorrection after #WeekOneUnders reigned supreme (as expected if you are an OTW blog reader #ThankYouOffTheWall).
This being the lowest line of the week was also little surprising to me. San Diego is bringing back a lot offensive firepower from their 2025 squad and arguably made their skill positions even better, while taking some chances on some younger, more unproven rookies in their defensive secondary. San Diego feels like they might be an Over bettors dream this season.
Northern Arizona is starting off the season with QB Ramone Atkins at the helm, instead of getting him after starting 0-7 and finding yourself desperate for answers. The Wranglers will be looking for answers to replace some of their departed production (again), but having Atkins in the mix gives them a fight chance to reached 2025 midseason former in their 2026 season opener.
Give me the Over on #IFLAfterDark and let's have ourselves a MONDAY.
Prediction: 51-38 San Diego
